There seems to be no respite to the candidates who have been waiting for the merit list of UPTET 2014 for the appointments of 72,825 primary school teachers after the state government deferred the matter of amendment in UP Basic Education (Teachers) Service Rules, 1981 back in November 2014.
The principal secretary basic education of the state government, Sunil Kumar have no answers to provide to media since the matter is in court and a new date is issues in every hearing. The appointed judge went on a leave on 4th March when there was a hearing which means the next hearing will be on 6th March, 2014.
There have been no appointments of teachers in the primary schools in UP for the past four and a half years. To cut down the corruption and widespread fraudulent practices in the recruitment of Teachers, TET came into the picture however this also got surrounded by the all the mal practices which were there earlier in the selection.
There are huge number of Teachers Vacancies which are lying empty and sooner or later will be filled by the candidates but it seems it will take time looking at the proceedings in the court. Candidates who have been looking for verdict on UPTET 2014 Merit List & Counselling Dates would have to wait longer.
