Utter Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2014: There has been lot of speculation, rumours and buzz about the Teacher Eligibility Test of one of the largest states of the country as the Government is planning to move the things online from this year onwards. In the absence of the official notification from the Government of Uttar Pradesh, there has been different things said to the anxious candidates who are eagerly waiting to fill up the said 72,825 vacant posts of the teachers.

It was assumed and also confirmed by some information channels and websites that the online application would begin from January'13 onwards and the process would be completed by 31st March'13, however nothing to be moving so far. There are speculations that the UPTET would be conducted twice from this year onwards in the first and last quarter of the year respectively.

An official notification is soon expected from examination regulatory authority, Allahabad as the responsibility lies with them this year to conduct the examination after the corruption and malpractices occured in UPTET 2014. As per the sources, UPTET regulatory authority has submitted the proposal to the ministry of education and state eductaion minister approval is required for the same.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority has issued the notification to conduct the KCET 2014 for admissions into various medical and engineering colleges across the state. All the students / candidates who have been preparing and waiting for this can now apply and better gear up for the exam.

Candidates who are willing to apply must have passed the Class XII or 2nd PUC with English as one of the languages.
