UP Polytechnic offers various 2 to 3 years courses such as Diploma Engineering/Technology, Agriculture Engineering, Fashion Designing, Library and Information Science, Diploma in Pharmacy, PG Diploma in Biotechnology and Hotel Management where the eligibility for these diploma courses are class 10th and 12th with the defined passing marks. Specialized courses like PG in Biotechnology require B.Sc in Biotechnology.

Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination has uploaded the UP Polytechnic Admit Card 2014 or JEECUP 2014 Admit card on its official website on www.jeecup.org for the candidates to download and gear up for the entrance exams which is scheduled to be conducted between 5th May and 7th May 2014 .
Joint Entrance Examination is conducted every year in the month of April by the UP Technical Education Board for the admissions into various ITI, Diploma and Polytechnic colleges across the state of Uttar Pradesh.
